The Boys' Brigade is a religious organisation and the company is divided into four age groups:

 

• Anchor Boys (School year 1-3)

• Juniors (School year 4-6)

• Company Section (School year 7-9)

• Seniors (School year 10-13)

 

All four sections works towards doing badge work which are then presented at a display night at the end of the BB year which is in May normally. This includes physical work and spiritual work as well as other interests that appeal to the boys. However, there is also activities that take place throughout the year which are not on a Thursday night. These include football, hockey and volleyball. We also do quiz nights for the Boys' where they will go up against other companies in Halifax.

 

Anchor boys are more involved in activities such as team games with other young people from other companies. As the boys grow older, the Boys' will take part in more physical and competitive games.

 

Throughout all this we encourage the boys to have fun and to enjoy themselves at Boys' Brigade forming friendships with other Boys' from the other the other companies within Halifax.
